SCHLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO STUDENTS

In order to encourage poor and meritorious students the following scholarships I stipends have been instituted by the State & Central G9vernments as well as generous persons. -             - ­

1. POST:'MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP:
Stipend is given to S.T./S.C. students by T & RW Department of their  own state.            

2. MERIT SCHOLARSHIP:

(a) Junior College Merit Scholarship­
Meant for meritorious +2 students securing not less than 60% marks in the Annual H.S.C. Examination of the same year conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Orissa.

(b) Senior College Merit Scholarship ­
Meant for Meritorious Degree students on the basis of marks secured at the Annual +2 Arts, +2 Science ,+2 Commerce Examinations conducted by C.H.S.E. of Orissa.

3. STIPEND TO ORTHOPAEDICALLY HANDICAPPED STUDENTS:
Awarded to blind, lame and such other handicapped students whose age bar falls within 17-30 years. They must have secured at least 40% marks in the H.S.C. Examination.

4. FULL FREE STUDENTSHIPS AND HALF FREE STUDENTSHIPS are granted to poor and deserving students @ 12.5% of the total strength of the students of a class. Students must apply to the Principal when asked to do so.
